Taken after work head down to Orchard, spent almost 2 hours
walkabout just to snap couple of shots cause weekdays is the best
where there's more tourist see sighting compared to locals here.

Spent 1 night stay at Batam just to observe the peoples there
and of course landscape and streets shot but to my surprise
they're not we're seeing here commonly but rather eye-ing
on me, some horn to get attention and lastly tried to over-charged
me just because im tourist? okay for some reason i didn't
fall for their trick instead I paid the price I was expected on the street paddlers.

To sum it up, I enjoyed it from the ferry to batam then back to singapore :]
Will post some pictures once I'm available.

Hello readers, sorry I've not been updating for 2 weeks.
I've been busy my this month November schedule but
now I'm free so yes I'm updating my past few days shoot-out.
Well I did spent my weekends wisely a good balancing between
friends and family, whatever it's family has to go first for me.

As for now my exams is just 2 weeks from now and I'm
still in the process studying half way I just hope not be in
no mood or stressful especially on works related, please.

Lastly I'll post and share some of my wonderful
shots I took at Orchard, it's the lighting that everyone
are eye-ing for and of course the big Christmas tree beside ION Orhard!

Pinky Pink!

Well that's Faerawrr's shoes so yup quite tall looking eventho
I'm used to high looking shoes at most would be Converse Hi-Cut.

Personally I liked this photo so much, why?
Well firstly the reflection of the shoes on the wet woody has
this shallowness soft reflection and that makes it a plus creative.
In my point of views, I felt that f1.8 gives a sharp focused points
during the after-shower on the cold morning, for others I gotta find out.
The vividness of the pink gives a striking effects amongst the frame.
Lastly the depth-of-field (DOF) gives a soft creamy except on the
right shoes guess I need to emphasize the length.

Finally a simple shot makes a great shot if you
know how to frame it nicely, never blame the camera.

This place where i worked is full of playgrounds all around me
just have a visit and you'll know what i mean, simply it's a total
experienced for those who loves to work on big tall & many buildings
around you on your daily routine, trust me won't get bored. why?
cause everyday we smiles the same person and best thing is
we can move from one place to another but the disadvantage is?
when you took long hours on the same spot for 1 half hours
it gets your butts more tiring compared to those used to
office styles should be no problem but again one day you'll feel it.

OK for the meantime I'm tired..fasting to come around the corner.
Gonna lose 2kg of weight for sure -.-

Flash fired with SB 800 from above manually @ 1/8

Both shots uses the same settings can notice the different?
The Kiwi gives a bit darker shadow perhaps it's because the
flash was fired handheld and my hand movements too much
causing the shadow to have a turn off overall, well it's okay.

Everything was done using DIY stationary with a simple
2 pieces thick drawing blocks and soft reflectors on the sides to
prevent the loss of lights and a Benro tripod to keep the camera
still and lastly a cable shutter release :]

Everything can be done with a simple tools around you..
just need the creativity and ideas from an inspired artists or
from your own self original creation, all the best!

end up shooting plants due to fast action insects flying around.

Somehow I've the chances to shoot rooftop normally people don't
have the chance to shoot on the roof unless with a valid reason.
So here am I sharing what's there on the rooftop? basically
it's just those exhaust/supply fans, motors, AHU, controls panel etc.
and not mention it's greasy there just imagine the rain and heat combination.
Hope no personnel from Biopolis reading/pictured these! :]

It's just part of educational for my own personal learning.

and i shall upload the fireworks I took last Saturday night
with the Kaki's Foto group later tomorrow!

Simply a pose and shoot for him since he doesn't have any experience
in posing/model and what's best it's his first time doing TFCD in 30mins.

All of the shots taken with 16mm lens and no flash was fired
due to the strong lights from the sun is enough to brighten up.

(well there's others too! - next outing perhaps)

Anyway outing was alright just some bad wheater situation which
really pissed me off well totally alot that I couldn't not get atleast
1 good photo to produce instead end up everything burned like an ashes.

So yup lesson learned today, always bring umbrella cause you'll
never know. To make rainbow you have to go tru the rain first
then the magical sparkling fired lights all around your viewfinder,
simply awesome!

looking forward for the upcoming slightly more organized alright.

Well just incase you don't know Esplanade Waterfront don't allowed flash
being fired directly on performances cause the lighting there is bright enough
to cover the stage so for photographers yourself do advise to use low light lens
so a cheap one should do the trick perhaps a 50mm f/1.8 costs around $180.
It's the cheapest lens and works best for low-light, portrait and wonderful bokeh.

This image was shot using a Nikon D80 and 70-200mm VR f/2.8 lens.
With a focal length at 200mm I'm able to get good shot of the butterfly.
Giving that the background was nicely blurred (bokeh) at aperture of f/2.8 mainly.
So now the background is completely clean, the subject was focused center.
To help with the shadow of the foreground, I filled in with a diffuser flash SB-800.
So basically only the leaf was bit out of focus due to it was shot handheld.
Yes it was pretty "heavy" for your information.

So, lately, I’ve been really contemplative about “young-adulthood” in general:
career choices, love, life, finances, etc.

Caught with them, Mocca yesterday, Sunday, pretty a lazy sunny day to photograph
them playing live and best thing is there's a straight rows of the front filled up with
a group of young enthusiast photographers and even i see those with lomo and
old-stuffs toys too! and it's simply awesome to bring back those retros-like!

Well i went for their 2nd set which started at 10.30pm and ended up home at 1am!
Plus I brought the shirt too! Simply simple and easy.

Gosh, woke up slightly late and late for school, how can school starts at 8am
while i reached at 9.20am? Haha but I'm not the only one because my
classmates don't think able to reach at 8am on the dot, mostly swingby
around 8.30am for sure and not turning for class is a plus grade for you!

Spent the after school to the park with my lil bro and takes a good shots
and i bet one day my lil bro be the youngest enthusiastic photographer
since i taught him how to hold and shoot from different angle, thanks
to the prime lens, 50mm f/1.8

One of my sharpest 30 secs exposured picture I've ever took!
Was using 70-300mm VR lens and it turns out to be sharp at f/11 stop with focal lenght of 70mm.

I'll be updating new skins someday this month, yes think i need to refresh a new styles
and also be more creative and original works. Anyway I had my computer monitor screen
serviced due to reason for 2 bloody days lost it's colours..after checking it was the monitor
fault not the graphic card. If it was the graphic card fault, i have the warranty and
thank goodness it's playable any high-end graphics :P

And that includes my transports, foods and shopping etc. Obviously it was due to Biopolis thingy makes me forked out of it, if it wasn't for Biopolis then i would have saved $50 or maybe more. Whatever it I'm more into work experiences then money. Awaiting for my 3 certifications, 3 years working experienced and of course knowledge :]
